Stats Perform has published the results of a new independent study conducted by TESTA, examining how the Watch & Bet live-streaming experience differs across five major global sportsbooks: bet365 (US), Betano (Brazil), Superbet (Poland), Maxbet (Romania), and Ladbrokes (UK).
Although all five operators use the same Watch & Bet technology from Stats Perform, the testing revealed substantial differences in how the product is implemented and how players experience key features across markets.

What the study found
Using TESTA’s network of real bettors on real devices, the testing team evaluated each operator under live, local conditions on 4G connections with mid-range mobile devices. The assessment focused on four areas that directly affect in-play engagement:
- Live stream quality: load time, clarity, lag, and synchronization
- Adding selections from within the stream
- Integration of live statistics
- Availability of in-stream highlights
The results show that while some operators deliver a unified, seamless experience—complete with instant highlights, integrated stats, and direct bet placement—others offer more limited in-stream functionality, affecting how deeply bettors interact with live events.
Why this matters for operators
Small differences in implementation can have a measurable impact on:
- How long players stay on-platform
- How frequently they interact during live events
- Whether they return to the same sportsbook for future in-play betting
The study highlights the value of independent, market-level testing for operators seeking to benchmark their experience and understand how rivals are using similar technology.
TESTA’s role
TESTA deployed testers in the United States, Brazil, Poland, Romania, and the United Kingdom to capture real-world, market-specific performance data. This reflects TESTA’s core methodology: real people, real devices, and local connections to understand how products actually perform for players.
Stats Perform has now published the full results on their site, including a downloadable breakdown and an on-demand session where TESTA CEO Kyle Wiltshire walks through the findings.
